Held at the end of April, this event is billed as the "world's largest street festival". All of the action takes place in the middle of Bridgetown at Congaline Village, and exhibitions of dance and music occur throughout the nine days of the event. The festival celebrates the variety of music genres in the region and also serves to expose industry professionals to local, regional and international players.

The final parade and gigantic congaline is the highlight of the carnival. Thousands of travellers and locals wearing specially-made event T-shirts form a congaline and parade in that fashion to continue the party in the clubs of St Lawrence Gap.

Congaline Village is a raised football field in the middle of the capital which hosts energetic performances by top soca and reggae artists. Gospel singers and comedy acts also perform.

The festival has been celebrated for 10 years and is focused on simple, uninhibited fun!
