To obtain a marriage license, apply in person at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Bridgetown. You will need to bring a passport or birth certificate and your return tickets home. If you've previously been married, bring proof of your single status. A letter from the person who will officiate at your wedding will also be required. Documents required for a Roman Catholic Ceremony must be sent by the couple’s bishop to the bishop of Bridgetown prior to the ceremony.
