Rockley Golf Resort is a short nine-hole course on Barbados. Located half a mile inland, the course is notable for its narrow shots. Pinpoint accuracy and steely nerves are required of the golfer. 

Although out-of-bounds signs line the fairways, the shortness of the course is perfect for beginners. Sacrificing the long drive in favour of the accurate shot will definitely be rewarded by the greens. The course also offers alternative tees if the group cares to play a full game. 

Towering trees and dense foliage create a pastoral environment, though they are sometimes challenging located between ball and green! The 7^th and the 8^th holes have a tree in play and sand bunkers often catch the misplaced drive. The 2800 yard course (of 9 holes,) has a par of 35.

One of the biggest attractions of the Rockley is its convenient location and bright social life. Both the players and the staff are extremely friendly, and visitors are often invited to play in the local competitions. Locals and overseas guests mingle freely at the clubhouse before and after games.

The Rockley is an open club and incorporates the pay-to-play concept as a major part of its marketing strategy. Club rental and golf lessons attract many players. In recent years the club has focused on its youth programme and the vibrant family atmosphere will ensure that this club continues to grow in popularity.
